This week we're celebrating some encouraging news for folks who have been watching the local housing market — particularly our buyer clients. The number of homes on the market increased for the first time since March of 2020!
As we've mentioned in previous blog posts, housing inventory has been ridiculously low in Ada County, causing most homes to receive multiple offers and many buyers to have a tough time finding something to buy.
While 114 existing homes on the market as of the end of January is still crazy low — there were three times as many homes last year at this time and that was the lowest it had been up to that point — at least it increased a bit.
And don't worry sellers, it's still the second best month to sell a home in Ada County ever!
As always, if we can help you or someone you know
